The 2014 Global Spin Awards held their press conference Wednesday, September 17, at Midtown Manhattan’s Bryant Park Hotel to announce this year’s nominees. On the panel were and DJ Funkmaster Flex, DJ KId Capri, and DJ Premier, along with Boomshots founder Rob Kenner, all of whom said a few words about the importance of DJing to the culture of hip-hop.
