There appears to be no end in sight for female celebrities who have had private photos and videos leaked onto the internet.
On August 31, 2014 countless nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Upton, McKayla Maroney and many others were distributed when their iCloud accounts were hacked. The event was dubbed “The Fappening” by the internet.
On Saturday, September 20, the leaks continued. In addition to more compromising photos and videos of Lawrence being released, other high profile celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Hayden Panettiere, Hope Solo, Vanessa Hudgens and Avril Lavigne were victimized.
