The 2013 BET Awards was going to be a nice showcase for Drake. The Toronto emcee was nominated for a whopping 12 awards and executives were banking on his star power to help boost ratings, but he called the morning of the event to say he wouldn’t be showing up.
According to RadarOnline, producers were left scrambling trying to figure out what to do.
