Suge Knight was attempting to mend a fence that’s been broken for a long time when he fatally hit his friend Terry Carter with his truck on Monday, January 29, in Compton, California. At least that’s the story coming out of his camp.
TMZ reports that Knight went to the set of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton to put his beef with Dr. Dre to rest. The two co-owned Death Row Records until Dre left in 1996 to form his Aftermath Entertainment label. He and Suge have been on bad terms ever since.
