The 57th Grammy Awards were held Sunday, February 28, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The category most hip hop fans had their eyes on was Best Rap Album. The nominees were:
“The New Classic,” Iggy Azalea, “Because the Internet,” Childish Gambino, Nobody’s Smiling, Common, The Marshall Mathers LP2, Eminem, “Oxymoron,” ScHoolboy Q and “Blacc Hollywood,” Wiz Khalifa.
Eminem bested the competition by walking away with the Grammy.
