Power 105.1 radio personality Charlamagne Tha God handed the “Donkey of the Day” to the Grammys for giving Macklemore’s The Heist the award for Rap Album of the Year over Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.

Charlamagne said that the Grammys have a history of ignoring great hip hop albums. He noted that artists like Nas, Snoop Dogg and Public Enemy have never won one.
